September 17, 2009 – TORONTO, ONT – GuestLogix Inc., (TSX-V: GXI), the world’s leading provider of onboard retail solutions to the airline industry, today unveiled its speaker roster for its first annual GuestLogix User Group Conference being held at the Sheraton Centre Toronto on September 22-24. Keynote speeches from SkyMall, Inflight Sales Group, POS Strategies, and David Stanley & Associates will engage conference participants in a thought provoking dialogue about the future of onboard retail and the possibilities of working outside the box with traditional passenger service models.
The conference speakers include:
Christine Aguilera, President, SkyMall. SkyMall is the leading domestic onboard magazine shopping service seen by nearly 88% of US air passengers reaching more than 650 million travellers annually. SkyMall also offers turn-key merchandise and fulfillment solutions for loyalty marketing programs.
Tony Detter, Managing Director, Inflight Sales Group. ISG remains the leading
concessionaire in the airline duty free business, with a strong customer base in Asia, Europe and the Americas. ISG together with Singapore Airlines were voted the Inflight Retailer of the Year in 2008 by DFNI.
Jerry Leeman, CEO, POS Strategies. As a leader in IBM’s Retail Division in Hospitality and Restaurants Jerry Leeman saw IBM move from number 4 to number 1 in POS market share. POS Strategies constantly reviews new products, technology trends, and analyzes consumer demands on industries to change business practices.
David Stanley, David Stanley & Associates. As former Vice President of Onboard Revenues with Royal Caribbean Cruiselines David Stanley led onboard operations and relationships with all concession companies and oversaw all destination revenue initiatives. His consulting firm provides advice in onboard operations design and revenue management.

The conference keynotes will be complemented by a presentation from Andrew Bergstrom, Managing Director of Cossette Communications on market research undertaken with IPSOS SA, France, which surveyed buying habits and desires by air travellers around the world. Research findings will be provided in a special report to airline attendees.
