SkyMall and GuestLogix Present Onboard Catalogue Shopping Service at 2nd Annual Airline Retail Conference UK

HERTFORDSHIRE, UK — July 22, 2008 — Two leading onboard retail solution providers, SkyMall Inc. and GuestLogix Inc. (TSX-V: GXI), have partnered to enable airlines to sell products during flight from nearly any merchant using the GuestLogix innovative POS retail platform integrated with SkyMall. Casey Christ, Vice President Airline Marketing at SkyMall will deliver a joint presentation on the benefits of their integrated solution at the 2nd Annual Airline Retail Conference being held in Hertfordshire, UK, July 22-23, 2008.

The two-day event will focus on the key areas that contribute to the overall success of In-flight Retail. Airline executives, suppliers as well as retail and travel industry experts will all be sharing valuable insight. Mr. Christ will discuss the benefits of shifting the catalogue point-of-purchase onboard. He will describe the unique business model made possible by the SkyMall catalogue and GuestLogix Mobile Virtual Store™ platform, which allows airlines to begin driving new revenues in as little as eight weeks.

"Our research shows that 73% of our customers made their buying decision on the plane and with GuestLogix we can now close more impulse buys and offer more convenience to time-pressed travelers," said Christ. "By making it easy to 'ring up catalogue sales' at 30,000 feet we can help create new revenues for operators as well as offer incentives to crew."

SkyMall and GuestLogix announced a multi-year agreement earlier this year to deliver a new onboard shopping service to the airline industry and expect to enter field testing with a major airline later this year.

SkyMall pioneered in-flight catalogue shopping, and has been the go-to catalogue merchandiser within the airline industry for 17 years. Their innovative product and distribution model make SkyMall the most compelling and efficient shopping medium in the sky today. Passengers now have the option to place their catalogue orders electronically during flight and have their purchase delivered directly to their home or elsewhere.

"Onboard retail innovation is becoming paramount to industry survival in light of today's ever-rising fuel costs," said Tom Douramakos, President and CEO, GuestLogix. "It's been shown that non-ticket revenues can contribute at least 10 times more margin than traditional fares. As such, implementing the combined GuestLogix and SkyMall solution can deliver immediate bottom line benefits to operators."
