In-Flight Box Office™ to Offer US Theme Park Destinations on US Flights

GuestLogix continues to sign up ticket partners to its new In-Flight Box Office™ service at a rapid pace. The latest partner to join the GuestLogix network is a major operator of theme parks and attractions in the US. Flights originating in the US and flying to Florida will soon have the opportunity to sell tickets to leading parks and attractions onboard.

At a time when theme parks and attractions are looking to bolster their visitor traffic In-Flight Box Office™ is a welcomed new channel for theme park operators everywhere. The service makes it very convenient for travelers to purchase tickets and start their vacations immediately upon arrival.

The airline industry has long served as both a marketing and distribution channel for many providers who regularly feed on the travel ecosystem. Operators have been known to take active positions with these peripheral providers through co-marketing partnerships and monetary participation. The product list includes credit cards, travel insurance, hotels, car rentals, vacation packages and more. For the most part, the efforts today have concentrated on airline websites, duty-free merchandising, loyalty programs, and advertising initiatives. Participants who have been able to aggregate services and drive new efficiencies are enjoying considerable growth.
