Session Descriptions

SELLING ONBOARD – CASE STUDIES

Session A - OnTouch™ Shopping & More
In this session, GuestLogix and SkyMall will discuss specific implementations of in-flight shopping with post-flight delivery available today. This actual case-study will illustrate what works best, what can be tailored differently and a collaborative discussion will generate additional ideas on how to bring in-flight catalogue shopping to your passengers with ease and great success.

Session B - OnTouch™ Ads
With a carrier already generating targeted advertising on sales receipts for flights to New York City, you will see firsthand how a successful implementation can bring great value to your passengers as well as revenue to your operations. Discussions on how to manage this program as well as a additional ways to bring meaningful advertising and promotions onboard will be a focus.

Session C - OnTouch™ Box Office
Entertainment and attraction vouchers are one of the items passengers say will show the greatest propensity to spend, so this session will be dedicated to a recent launch of a major attraction offering being sold onboard one GuestLogix airline partner. A full discussion on the program implementation along with a look at the positives and the negatives of this specific launch will be examined.

KEEPING THE STORE OPEN

Session D - Device Management to Keep Your Onboard Store Ticking
With last year's introduction of the Asset Management System (AMS), the focus here will be the current and future device management and tracking capabilities as well as the new Device Self-Diagnostics. Learning how to use the tools available more effectively will come through interactive discussion amongst all carriers. There will be data review on repair statistics as well as a review of the repair process improvements currently moving into effect.

Session E - Transmission Best Practices to Process More Transactions
This session will focus on a review of transmission statistics across our Airline partner base and will incorporate a full discussion on the best ways to spot and manage transmission problems. New improvements in performance monitoring will be discussed as well. GuestLogix' next generation technology will be disclosed here and carriers will get a chance to see how we are working to help you in this area.

Session F - Support Best Practices for Service Consistency
Best practice sharing when it comes to service and support is a large benefit to being a part of the GuestLogix User Community. Understanding how Airlines are interfacing with GuestLogix to ensure that support issues are properly handled can help drive greater productivity. GuestLogix continues to work to improve our troubleshooting, triage and support desk processes as well as operational reporting and other common support improvements and will share new organizational structures and developments to better serve our Airline partners.

*Note: Sessions D through F are repeated as Sessions N through P at 9:30am on Day 3.

ENHANCING THE TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM

Session G - Adding New Platform Functionality
New platform functionality is a constant at GuestLogix. In this session, you will discuss learn about new modules that are available today and give some insight into those that are coming tomorrow. Inventory Management and Cabin Reporting are areas that will be discussed as well as open discussion between all Airlines. Understanding how to get new modules implemented into your operations as well as the processes involved when there is a module that every carrier will most likely want are key elements of this session.

Session H - Software Release Process to Keep You on Top
In this session, the GuestLogix software development process is highlighted from when an idea is generated in the field right through to production, testing and finally implementation. The GuestLogix team will discuss how release cycles are set up and managed and how our Quality Assurance processes work. GuestLogix will also highlight what we are doing to improve these processes.

Session I - Data Reconciliation for Peace of Mind
In any store, whether bricks and mortar or e-commerce, consumers are accustomed to paying with cash, credit cards, prepaid cards, debit cards or micropayment methods such as Paypal. This session will discuss how to transform the current onboard store into a multi-access on and offboard shopping mall that doesn't ask the consumer to change his buying patterns by accepting multiple payment methods. Additionally, we will review the basic process of transactional data flow, how credit card transactions go through the approved/declined process and settlement , what information is available is in typical revenue reports, and how these reports tie out to each other and to customers' financial reporting. A general discussion of what airlines do to ensure full data reconciliation will be included.

SELLING AT OTHER TOUCHPOINTS

Session J - OnTouch™ Ground Connections – A Case Study
Ground transportation offerings are one of the most intuitive offerings to provide your passengers. One GuestLogix airline partner has taken full advantage of this opportunity but has found a way to do so from a unique touchpoint. This session will not only look at the success of this launch, but will illustrate the value of allowing access to your Onboard Store in other areas you have contact with your passengers such as at the gate or in the lounges before a flight.

Session K - Pre-Ordering
This session will be entirely dedicated to new functionality allowing integration of pre-ordering products & services such as meals, duty-free and in-flight entertainment for fulfillment at the gate, onboard or elsewhere throughout a passenger's journey.

Session L - Accessing the Store via Blackberry
With the introduction of a new mobile solution, allowing passengers to access your branded Onboard Store from their smartphones, GuestLogix will take you through the importance of operating a traveling store with accessibility anywhere your passengers are. Additional technologies such as a special onboard currency application as well as how verification of purchased products & services will be performed onboard will be discussed.

CONTROLLING & MANAGING THE STORE

Session M - Analytics & Dashboard Demonstrations
GuestLogix' newest analytics tool, the OnTouch™ Dashboard, will be on display with full walkthrough demonstrations to learn how this new technology will allow you to control and manage your Onboard Store more effectively, with heightened transparency on store performance levels, sales statistics, transaction performance and device management.

TRANSACTING IN THE FUTURE

Session Q - Access, Payment Methods & Connectivity
As future connectivity onboard remains a pressing issue, this session will feature a panel that will discuss the implications of onboard connectivity and how it can benefit your Onboard Store as well as how it may possess potential hazards. Real-time credit card processing, in-flight internet and other areas of future connectivity will be discussed.
